Tax Season 2012

The tax laws have not changed much from last year when most of the tax cuts from the Bush Administration were extended through 2012. However, as tax preparers, our reporting methods have changed as to make our due diligence more complete. Please have patience when asking for additional information or documentation to complete your tax return

Also know that we have always provided you with the most up-to-date tax service you can receive, however for your protection, the IRS has proposed new registration, testing, and continuing education of tax return preparers. By 2014 we will have to be registered, certified, and most likely fingerprinted in order to prepare your tax return.

NORTHEND CONTINUES TO "GO GREEN"
For the past three years our office has been making a strong effort to reduce our paper output and recycle as much as possible. We are now able to scan and create a PDF file of your tax return and accompanying work papers. If you would like to receive a copy of your electronic files, please let us know. We would be happy to e-mail them to you, burn them to a disk or copy them to your thumb drive. Also, if you would prefer this method to a paper copy of your return, please let us know when you bring your taxes. This will save us from printing your tax return unnecessarily.
